New Features: Pointstreak Sites (Summer 2009)

Pointstreak's SUMMER 2009 development cycle (covering July, August & September) saw numerous and broad improvements across all of our league management solutions as well as some major new initiatives.

With the launch of Pressbox Services (www.pressboxservices.com) for the Texas High School Coaches Association, new statistical solutions were introduced for football and volleyball with more sports in the pipeline. Also released was GAME LIVE for football, an amazing Flash application that graphically displays real-time football stats over an image of a football field.

Perhaps the most innovative feature in SUMMER 2009 was the integration of Pointstreak Registration with Team Locker Room, which enables team representatives to distribute their team fee across teammates and then have those teammates pay online through Pointstreak's online registration system. We expect this innovation to speed up your cash collection as well as reduce team rep burn-out and therefore improve customer retention.

Major Developments:

- Improved stats integration: Multi-team functionality enables 'stats snippets' to be added to one website from multiple teams.
- "Share this" & RSS feeds: Share feature allows visitors to easily re-share news stories on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. RSS feeds allow users to subscribe to a data feed of league or team news stories.
- Calendar file import: Import a CSV file with scheduled events into your Pointstreak Sites calendar tool.
- Subheader support: Ability to add large images or Flash file beneath level 1 navigation bar for greater design flexibility.
- Drop-down menu support: Pointstreak Sites GOLD clients can now implement a 3 level dropdown menu toolbar instead of the standard top/left menu toolbar.

Minor Developments:

- Major optimization: Responsiveness & speed improvements on public webpages and back-end admin tools.
- Improved design: Improved visual styling for stats snippets, news stories, calendar, videos, etc.
- Improved Site Map: Manage all your webpages from one simple, 1 page interface: re-order pages, move pages between sections, access and edit any page.
- Multiple calendar support: Allows you to add more than 1 Events page and set up separate calendars for separate purposes (e.g. Youth calendar, Travel
calendar, etc).
